|RTRS Use of the Logo & Claims Policy|
The main aim of the RTRS is “to promote the cultivation and the use of responsible soy by means of the cooperation with the supply chain and the open dialogue among its stakeholders.” Part of this premise also includes the recognition of the RTRS certification by means of its logotype, therefore the following policies define the proper use of the RTRS registered trademarks and the declarations related to them and the communication related to the production or the trading of RTRS goods and certificates, and/or the membership of RTRS.
RTRS considers its trademarks to be among its most valuable intellectual property assets. Therefore, this document sets out the RTRS policy on trademarks use, communications and claims for both certificate holders and non-certificate holders. This policy does not cover claims for feed.
This policy became effective on May 9th 2011 and shall be applicable worldwide.
RTRS may modify this policy from time to time and users will be obliged to comply with the updated policy immediately after it is made available or public by the RTRS (including without limitation, by posting the new policy in the RTRS website).
