Neste Oil Corporation

Neste Oil Corporation is a refining and marketing company focusing on advanced, clean traffic fuels. Neste Oil had net sales of EUR 9.974 million for the year 2005.
Most of the oil products are sold in the domestic market. Exports of oil products amounted to 5.6 million tonnes. The Nordic countries and North America were largest export markets.
Neste Oil´s strategy is aimed to make the company the word´s leading biodiesel producer. The foundation of Neste Oil´s strategy will remain based on the company´s ability to use its unique refining know-how to produce high-quality fuels to cleaner traffic form a variety of raw materials. Neste Oil expects to invest several billion euros in growth projects over the next 10 years.
Neste Oil has developed a high quality biodiesel production technology, which will be utilized in a plant currently under construction in Porvoo Refinery. The product quality is equal to a second generation biofuel. Neste Oil will be among the first producers and marketers of such a high quality biofuel in the world.
