RTRS announces the first 2019 RTRS Awards celebrating outstanding contributions to sustainable soy practices

The Round Table on Responsible Soy Association (RTRS)- will recognise some of the leading contributions to sustainable soy practices with the inaugural 2019 RTRS Awards.

Hosted at the RTRS annual international conference in Utrecht, Netherlands (11-12 June), the 2019 RTRS Awards will celebrate individuals, organisations or partnerships that have contributed to a significant positive change in the sector.

Nominees who accept their nomination will need to show, by submitting supporting information and material, which were their contributions to the sector, how they helped influence, create alliances, promote and/or implement sustainable agricultural practices and build sustainable supply chains.

The categories for the 2019 RTRS Awards are as follows:

  • Award for sustainable partnerships
  • Award for leading-edge soy production management
  • Award for drivers of sustainable soy value chains

If you wish to nominate an individual or organization, send an email to (cc. containing the following information: (i) full contact details of the nominee (complete name of the individual or the organization, e-mail address, business address and telephone number), (ii) the category/ies in which the person or organization is nominated, and (iii) a description of the reasons why the Candidate deserves to win the award in the category/ies in which is being nominated. The deadline for sending out nominations is May 27, 2019.
