Ulises Javier Martinez Ortiz

He is an agronomical engineer, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Since 2000, he has worked as a teacher and researcher in the area of Natural Resource and Environmental Economics at the School of Agronomy of the University of Buenos Aires, as an assistant-professor since 2011. He performed advisory activities in organisations such as the Dirección de Conservación de Suelos de la Nación (Soil Conservation Agency in Argentina), the German Cooperation Agency (GTZ), UNDP, the World Bank, TNC and WWF. His professional experience includes topics such as climate change, desertification, micro-credits, good agricultural practices, coordination, implementation and assessment of programmes and projects, territorial ordering, environmental impact assessment, among others. Since 2004, he has collaborated with Fundación Vida Silvestre Argentina (FVSA) in different programmes and projects. Since 2015, he has been a member of the RTRS Executive Committee, representing FVSA
